Whatsapp checks picture-in-picture mode for video call
As we know people use WhatsApp for face calls. And users want to do other work during the video calls on the mobile phone.Other apps use picture-in-picture mode for that. But till now Whatsapp doesn’t use that. Now reports say WhatsApp use that mode for their video call option.
WABetaInfo reports Whatsapp checks picture-in-picture mode in IOS devices. Now that feature is available on IOS 16.1 and above versions in the beta version of the app. But no words about whether this feature is available on android devices or not.
Following that screenshot, you will be able to talk to people on WhatsApp video calls while checking out other apps, quite like you can do while watching YouTube videos in the Picture-In-Picture mode. This will make multitasking easier.
